Good questions to bring
You are allowed to ask all of these. Most providers expect them.
- Who performs the treatment, and are they supervised by anyone?
- What license and training do they have?
- What product or device is used, and where does it come from?
- How do you decide if this is suitable for me?
- What does a typical course of treatment look like?
- What aftercare is needed?
- What do you do if I have a reaction or a problem afterward?
- What is the total price, including any follow-up visits?
Come prepared
Providers ask a lot of questions at a consultation, and it is easy to forget something in the moment. Write the main points down beforehand.
Include your health history, every medication and supplement you take, any allergies, and any previous treatments such as peels, laser or injectables. Note anything you are worried about. Then add your own questions, such as who will perform the treatment and what it will cost in total.
Pause if you see these
A consultation that goes well usually leaves you with clear answers and no rush. Pause if instead you get:
- A push to pay a deposit or book on the spot.
- Treatment offered with no consultation.
- Fuzzy answers about who performs it and their license.
- A refusal to give the total cost in writing.
You can look up licenses through the Florida state boards. A short search before you book is worth the time.
